Bardic Tales by Tuahan

As one of his numerous feats of CGI, Lefty of Polymorph Want a Cracker? made a wicked program called King Dwain's Wandering Knights. Basically, the user of the program can take a basic tale of a knight and his crew trekking out to slay a foul beast, and lets the user add commentary like a bard would chronicle an epic. A complete list of the bardic tales can be found by clicking here, but here is a list and a few details about the tales I've had the honor of explaining.

1. Sir Joseph the Forceful: In which lions aren't good.
Assistant: Ian the Squire Support Staff: Janet the Cook, Henry the Friar, Me
Synopsis: My first bardic tale. The bard is rather stupid and self-serving. He stays hopeful until the end, but doesn't know very much about what he's doing. Like me.

2. Sir Elliott the Humble: Sure to Land Himself a Lawsuit with the Association of Bandits and Thugs.
Assistants: Marcus the Squire, Russell the Wise Man Support Staff: Matthew the Friar, Me
Synopsis: The bard turns nasty. He has a stuck-up attitude and hates everything. If I could delete this one, I would.

3. Sir Marcus the Resolute: A Ballad of Sorts
Assistants: Lionel the Squire, Dominic the Blacksmith, Dieter the Trainer Support Staff: Me
Synopsis: I made this one a simple poem. After reading it again, it's a lot better than I thought it was. When I wrote the world "kelpers" I was thinking of "kippers", but "kippers" didn't rhyme.

4. Sir Reginald the Noble: Bumpkins, Snobs, and Witches
Assistants: Adrian the Squire, Emma the Sage Support Staff: Dieter the Apothecary, Me
Synopsis: This bard was arrogant, but it turned out to be a lot better than the second tale. Really. Even the basic tale behind it is more adventurous.

5. Sir Lance the Valiant: The Quest for Eskimo
Assistants: Cedric the Squire, Elizabeth the Blacksmith, Curtis the Trainer Support Staff: Me
Synopsis: The knight's name was Lance, so I couldn't resist making him Lance of Lance and Eskimo. Curtis was a trainer, so I couldn't resist making him a Pokemon trainer. The blacksmith was a woman, so I couldn't resist making the bard a chauvinist. I must not be able to resist much.

6. Sir Lawrence the Agile: To be released spring 2004. Rating pending.
Assistants: Jerome the Squire, Leo the Wise Man Support Staff: Amanda the Guide, Me
Synopsis: I thought the map looked a little silly, so I made it seem like it was a video game. Interesting, but I don't think I got the effect I was hoping for.

7. Sir Cedric the Polite: Quite so
Assistants: Richard the Squire, Neil the Juggler Support Staff: Ann the Apothecary, Me
Synopsis: This one started out well, but it got thin towards the end. I was typing at school, and ran out of time, you see.
